Dengue Fever Epidemic hits Manila August 19

The Children of the Dump need your help TODAY please.

There is currently a Dengue Fever epidemic in Manila and unfortunately some of our students are currently ill and 2 are in hospital. Even though they are in a public hospital, it still costs a significant amount of money and medicines are an additional cost. We need extra funds to help meet these bills.

Dengue fever is caused by mosquito bites. The mosquitos have been breeding in standing water during  the current rainy season. Providing that people get the right treatment most people will make a full and fast recovery and we are sure you will want to help to make that happen.
