Sponsor a child for Cashew Early Years, this gives a child aged 4 to 6, like Joshua*, a head start out of poverty with vital Early Years school education.

Joshua*, like all Cashew Early Years children receives free teaching from a professionally qualified teacher on 5 days a week. Plus all of his books, pens & paper are supplied by the charity. In addition, Joshua receives a healthy meal each day, sometimes the only meal that he might eat.

Cashew support is limited to 2 years because after this time each child will be ready to progress to Elementary School. Here is where former Cashew students are renowned for their eagerness to learn.

Save children by transforming lives through education

Without this support Joshua would likely not receive any Early Years education. This means he would join the school system at the age of 6 with little or no reading or writing skills. Meaning almost certainly lacking the social confidence to thrive in this environment.

Not all children need sponsorship support after Cashew Early Years. When that happens with the child graduating, we will introduce you to a new student eager for the opportunity that sponsoring can provide and the cycle starts again.

Each child needs £5 of sponsorship per week to secure a place, collected every month as £20.

£20 guarantees 5 days a week schooling from professionally trained teachers plus all pens and paper plus a tasty nutritious meal. The family also receives weekly support from qualified social workers
